Sikaflex - 291i Marine
Multifunctional adhesive sealant for marine applications
Sikaflex® - 291i is a stable 1-component polyurethane sealant that reacts to form an elastomer when exposed to atmospheric moisture. Sikaflex® 291i is a product that can be used in ship and boat building for the production of elastic and vibration-resistant joint seals and can also be used for a variety of interior sealing applications. Good adhesion on wood, metal, metal primers and paintwork as well as on ceramic materials and plastics.

- Non-corrosive
- Can be painted and sanded
- Low odour
- Electrically non-conductive
- Resistant to seawater and fresh water
Consumption:
A 300 ml cartridge is sufficient for approx. 10 m joints 5 x 5 mm.
600 - 1000 ml for approx. 1 m² bonding.

General advice
Move out of dangerous area. Consult a physician. Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance.
If inhaled
Move to fresh air. Consult a physician after significant exposure.
In case of skin contact
Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Wash off with soap and plenty of water. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
In case of eye contact
Immediately flush eye(s) with plenty of water. Remove contact lenses. Keep eye wide open while rinsing. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.
If swallowed
Do not induce vomiting without medical advice. Rinse mouth with water. Do not give milk or alcoholic beverages. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
